About Us
The purpose of Erie Valley Fire & Rescue strives to preserve and protect the life and property of Bethlehem Township and Village of Navarre, implement fire safety training and prevention, and provide a well staffed, highly trained fire department as to ensure the safety and prosperity of life for those we serve and protect.
Erie Valley Fire & Rescue was adopted on 01/01/2016 by a joint venture between the Village of Navarre and the Bethlehem Township Trustees. With this joint commission we are able to provide a larger, higher trained roster of members to the citizens of Bethlehem Township and Village of Navarre. Erie Valley Fire & Rescue now staffs a station with an advanced life support/firefighting crew 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This staffing significantly decreases our response time to all incidents.
